2. No excess usage charge

Most TPG plans do not have excess usage charge. The Internet speed will be slower when your monthly download limit is reached. In comparison, most Bigpond plans charge additional usage at $0.15/MB (i.e. $153.60/GB). We are sure you don't want to see a shocking bill at the end of the month. So it is import to avoid plans that incurs excess usage charge.

3. Count download usage only

TPG only counts download data as your usage only. Some ISPs count both download and upload as your usage.

4. Decent shaped speed

TPG plans shape speed to 64kbps, 128kbps or 256kbps depends on plans.

You may wonder how slow are they. For comparison, the maximum dial up Internet speed is 56kbps. It is generally slower at 48kbps or 32kbps.

In general, 64kbps is fair enough for Internet browsing, email, etc. 256kbps is already considered broadband.
